I keep a couple of 3.58 crystals in my drawer and swap them out when I
suspect a bad one. I find that a 3.58 crystal is a 3.58 crystal and one
will work in any chassis. There may be exceptions but I haven't run into
one yet. Also more often than not it is the jungle IC that is bad
instead of the crystal. I'd be going back with a crystal, an IC and my
scope if I were you.
