Hi Members; There was some duscussion a while back, about which STKs should be used as a replacement for the STK392-110, on the Hitachi PTVs. Is it OK to use the STK392-180 ? (Most of you said to use the STK392-150.) I have been using the STK392-180 on Toshiba, and Mitsubishi PTVs with good results. I see no reason why they cannot be used on the Hitachi PTVs. I'd like the rest of you guy's opinions on this matter. I replaced BOTH STKs on the above model, for blue off to the right about 2 inches, and no adjustement activity. I also replaced RK50 (2.2 ohms). Now the Blue is off in the opposite direction (to the left about 1/2 inche), with still no adjustment activity. Do you think I have a voltage missing, another open resistor, factory menu default problem, DCU board problem, or could it be that I used the wrong replacements for the STKs ? I have downloaded the service manual from the Hitachi web site, and the service bulletins that apply to this model. I now have the set here in the shop, after making 3 trips to the house.
