Been getting mine for a few years now, and I've never had to return any yet.
I doubt if I ever will.
This year was the first year in my whole life that I actually had a negative
number at the bottom of the form.
When they asked at the VA what my income was last year when requalifying me
for eligibility, I said minus $2500.
She said: "well we can't put that down", so she put down +$11,000 which was
my SS payments.
