I'll make less, because I'm not investing in the equipment to service it.
Now you younger guys who MAY have 20 or 30 years to recover the cost might
find it worth it but based on the last 20 years of changes I've seen, I
regret buying that VC93 that I used only once, proving that a customer would
not pay for the cost of repairing anything that needed to have me use it.

I'm sure glad I didn't buy the equipment needed to repair wireless phones.
I'm also glad I didn't spend $5000 on the exerciser needed to repair cell
phones and program them.
Cellular One said I would be able to charge $100 to program the phone after
they sold it. That was about 6 months before they began selling phones that
could be programmed at the point of sale with NO equipment at all.

Everything I've seen come our way in the past 20 to 30 years was supposed to
be THE thing we would be able to, at last, make some decent money repairing.
They lied about all of it.
