Members may want to keep this post for their records since
this is such a common chassis and problem.
Max, CR4118, C4401, C4402, CR4101, C4118 & C4145
should always be replaced. Also check Q2906, R4904,
Q4505, Q4506, CR4111, Q4105, C3124, Q3102, yoke,
check windings on pin 12-13 on T4102, R4102, CR4123,
R1928, R4114, C4115, C4705, C4118, CR4709, Q4302,
R4704, R4713, HV distribution block & resolder T4401.
I'll also put the most common 'dead' repair tips for CTC169
(PTV & direct view).
Replace CR4118, C4108, CR4402, C4402 & C4401
even if they check good. Also check CR4101, CR4606,
CR4111, C4105, Q4101, CR4122, CR4123, R4150, R1928,
R4114, C4705, C4115, CR4709, C4145, C414, CR3101,
R4150, C4141, SCR501, CR4504, C4503, R3126, CR4303,
CR4710, C4145, Q4105, R4102, C3124, R4704, R4713,
Q3102, R4904, U4101, the yoke, pin of 12-13 of T4102
could be open, resolder L4803 & T4401, and possibly
L4702, U4801, U1902, Q4302 check for shorts (pin 1-3) in
U1901 If you are getting ~15v from the PS, IC3101 & Q4601
could be bad. If it's down below 15v, replace C4145.
