MAKE SURE YOU DO NOT RUN THE PS WITH THE +/-18 VOLT SUPPLY (audio) UNLOADED.
IT WILL BLOW THAT SUPPLY! KEEP THE YELLOW CONNECTOR G3 CONNECTED.

Pete ,

Remove the main power supply module & jumper the contacts of RY602. Put a
100watt bulb across the 115V regulated B+ pins on connector G5 (pin 5 =115)
& (pin2 =cold ground).

Slowly bring up the supply on your variac and verify regulated 115V. This
supply will draw about 3 Amps when running.

The power supply board is typically riddled with ring cracks around the
transformers and T0-220 type semiconductors.

Do you have the shutdown guides and troubleshooting info for the AP series
sets? I will send to you just in case.
