Try adding a tuning cap on the C of the hot, it might let the set work
and you can make more test, or put a 100watts bulb in series with the B+
to the fly. For the cap .005 to .01 x 1,500v is correct.

We have a RCA CTC203CH3 which goes
into shutdown after one second..The base waveform of the output
transistor looks ok and the high voltage comes up to 23 kv for a
second..Output transistor and scanning diode checks ok..B plus is 134
volts on flyback..Any help with this unit would be greatly appreciated.
