Where I have my shop , I sublet from a Car Audio/Video shop. I rent the back part of the store for my needs. When I am not there , they will handle all my pickups and drop off transactions. I have a real good situation...I am blessed! My phone line forwards to my cell phone so I never miss a call....unless I'm in a poor reception area. The shop is open from 9-6 Mon-Sat whether I'm personally there or not. I do find that with 99% of my carry in repairs , the customer has called me prior to inquire and they know exactly what they will be charged for me to do the repair ( I work on a flat rate structure) My shop started as a home based business and technically still is......my phone number is based from the house , when I leave the phone gets forwarded to my cell. I have 2 numbers that cover 2 area codes of the shoreline of Connecticut , making it a local call for everyone in the general area. \ Works for me.......low overhead. ========================== Jeff Stielau Shoreline Electronics Repair 344 East Main Street Clinton,CT 06413 860-399-1861 860-664-3535 (fax) jstielau@xxxxxxxx ======================== "If you push something hard enough it will fall over."
