Serco have the contract in Lancashire. We did have an arrangement for first
line maintenance with Siemens as part of the traffic signal maintenance
contract, which did not work very well and the enthusiasm for the work was
minimal. This then transferred to Peek when they joined our traffic signal
partnership, and the results were patchy. The main problem was duplication
of effort, apart from PI most faults had to be reported back to Serco anyway
- and we paid individual fees for every instance. The contract with Serco
is so far working very well.

Subject: [TCUG] Safety Camera Maintenance

Good morning all

Please can anyone provide details of the contractors they use to maintain
their safety cameras?

We appear to be suffering from a monopoly situation at present which
certainly does not help our
finances and introducing competition is definitely the way to go.

I don't need contractual arrangements, just names and addresses if
possible.

Many thanks

Regards

Grahame Bath
