We have a couple of ELV junctions operational now and most of our new
installations are going to be ELV. We haven't had any problems with them
(touch wood) so far.

As part of an pedestrian crossing refurbishment scheme, one contractor
has
offered an ELV option. At a significant cost increase it must be said.
As
this may provide a reduce risk under CDM I am considering taking up
the
option. However before this goes to a final decision it would be useful
to
canvass independent opinion from the "marketplace" regarding the
reliability
and numbers of fully ELV sites in use.

If anyone has any experience with this option could you take a moment
to
share it?

Thanks in advance

Julian Smith
