[TCUG] Data Protection

As well as the day job with traffic signals I am also responsible for our City
Centre
CCTV Security Control Room, and for that we are currently renewing all of our
Codes
of Practice, Procedures Manual etc.
I am acutely aware that our and other UTC control rooms existed long before the
Data Protection Commissioner (God bless her), and many of you, like me, have
closed one or both eyes to whether it complies or not. We are at least
registered.
I would like to re-examine this area and would be grateful if any of you have
done
any serious work on it - even if it was to decide to put in it the "too
difficult to do
today" basket. Do any of you record on a regular basis? Do you make copies?
Do
you train staff on DP/Human Rights? Do you have a Code of Practice? Can I have
a
copy?
