(Disclaimer -- I'm working, not attending this event at all -- just have to
stick my big nose in <grin>)

You're bringing Capt. Otto also, right? Is one of you driving the beetle
and the other driving the RV or do you have a towbar/dolly setup installed
already?

Why don't y'all head out Thursday and spend the night staged in Hempstead
or somewhere else along 290 between KILT and Brenham (or even IN Brenham)?
You could just drive Capt. Otto in to work on Friday morning (working the 6
- 12, right?) from wherever you're parked. That way you don't have to make
the loop out on 10 to Sealy then across 36 to Brenham.

If you stage it in Brenham it could be the "rally point" for everyone.
"Meet at the RV and wait for Joe."

That's the nice thing about an RV. Just find a Wal-Mart parking lot and
stop for the night.
