The thing I pick up on the Perspective program a week ago was:It seems star metro was still looking into whether the buses should go into the malls. Like they tabled the issue for further study or something like that.

That's exactly right Darla, it comes down to a safety issue which is being ignored. And, you know, while Mr. Garrison sort of implied the mall had a problem with buses coming in, he didn't come out and say that, and so I'm not sure if the mall does have a problem, or we're simply meant to think they do. It's a point which needs clarification, and one we need to write our commissioners about, *after* the plan is proposed, urging them not to accept it. right now, if you write a city commissioner before the plan is proposed, your comments are simply forwarded on to StarMetro, who apparently aren't listening to safety issues much. ------------------------------ Chip Orange Database Administrator Florida Public Service Commission Chip.Orange@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx (850) 413-6314 (Any opinions expressed are solely those of the author and do not necessarily reflect those of the Florida Public Service Commission.)Check out the TABI resource web page at http://acorange.home.comcast.net/TABI-----Original Message----- From: tabi-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:tabi-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Darla J. If the mall has a problem with that, let them have shuttles from the bus stop to the mall entrance and back.
