That’s really interesting, Sven.

And funny.

I also use four languages regularly – English, Hindi, Marathi, and Tulu.

And I think in English.

much metta,

Rohi

Thanks soo much Ladies and Gentlemen :)

Great feedback and 50 extra points for Gryffindor.

Well..the language part. That´s a quite funny thing.

My German is quite excellent (as my English has been for years), although I´m
already forgetting words. Normal process when you´re living abroad and using
the local language 98% of the time. My brain switched from German to Spanish.
So, I´m thinking already in Spanish and I had dreams in Spanish.

So where´s the funny thing? Once a week I have a phone call with someone from
the US. And in the latest call, my brain thought in Spanish, but my tongue
wanted to speak in English. And right before the phone call, I did one call in
Spanish and another in German...

You can imagine what happened...I mixed Spanish words in English sentences. But
I´m sure he understood it anyway :D

However, it´s just a matter of time until I don´t need a proofreader anymore.
I´m not worried about that :)

Take care,
Sven

Sven,

    sounds good.

I’ve edited some of the bits that sounded strange to my ear (and distracted me
from your message). Hope that’s useful.

It probably needs a Call To Action at the end? Not sure.

Welcome to the Canary Islands.

When it's your first time in Gran Canaria, it can be quite overwhelming to
choose what to see and do in a week or two of your holidays.

You chose this destination because of the admirable climate and the tropical
beaches. And you probably heard that Gran Canaria is a paradise for hikers and
adventure travellers.

It truly is.

And for sure you already researched for weeks hundreds of articles and facts
about the best possible way to spend your holiday on this island.

You know what's the problem with all this information?
It's mostly written by people who have never been here in their lives!

And after your holidays are over and you are back home, you sadly realise that
you didn't really see Gran Canaria at all.

It's that moment when friends are asking you "What? You didn’t see…?"
Because you trusted mediocre posts from journalists...

Make your holiday in Gran Canaria a magic experience.

- Get off the beach and jump into your hiking boots
- Go local and get to know the authentic Gran Canaria
- Discover the island´s secrets

Dear damn fine writers,

I would like to hear your opinion about the following text.
It´s one of the most important parts on a blog. The About page.

Oh and..it´s just a shitty first draft. Made with Dragon Dictate while walking
around.
It was the first time I didn´t sit in the chair while writing and I will do it
always that way from now on. Give it a try :)

Here we go:
