Ok. What are you trying to record, and how are you going about it.
Are you recording from an external signal sauce, e.g. cd player, or tape, or
record player?
Or are you trying to record from a external mic plugged in to your computer.

Its a IDT High Definition Audio CODEC its a laptop so I can't change how
things are whired. Its beats audio and a HP note book.
