GE RG, What you say doesn't surprise me. My wife also included Trump as "too
macho" in her list of complaints. While I can certainly see your wife's point
of view, having been brought up Catholic myself, you might ask her to consider
the fact that Trump is surrounded by strong, independent women that are not
threatened by him nor he they. As I mentioned about my wife's position, its
straight out of the DNC talking points playbook without fact for substance,
just the "big lie" repeated over and over again until women accept it as truth.
I saw the Borgia connection to the Church years ago. The defense of pedophile
priests was the last straw for me. 73JS

GM JS,
It's a different story here in AZ. My wife socializes with a group of around
8 Filipinas once a month. A couple of time a year
the husbands are included. What a great bunch of strong, independent minded
women. So I asked her if they discussed
the upcoming election and 100% of them will NOT vote for Trump. I then asked
what reason was given. She said there
were several but the main reason was put this way. When these women became
American Citizens they became free
from domination of the Catholic church and a male dominated society. They
demand FULL emancipation and reject
Trump because the Republicans adopted the most Pro-Life platform ever
condemning abortion and planned parenthood.
If you have been to the Philippines then you know 10's of millions live in
bone-crushing poverty. Over population has
ruined that country.
I then asked her if her friends worried about eternal damnation from
disobeying the Catholic church. (I already knew the
answer to this, hihi) She replied, Did you not see with me the House of
Borgia? If anyone reading this doesn't know about
the Borgias this describes them in a nutshell.
The Borgias became prominent in ecclesiastical and political affairs in the
15th and 16th centuries, producing two popes: Alfons de Borja,
who ruled as Pope Callixtus III during 1455–1458, and Rodrigo Lanzol
Borgia, as Pope Alexander VI, during 1492–1503.
Especially during the reign of Alexander VI, they were suspected of many
crimes, including adultery, incest, simony, theft, bribery, and murder
(especially murder by arsenic poisoning).

G What I find fascinating is how many women (my wife included) have a visceral
hatred for Trump yet say they despise Clinton even more and will vote for
Trump. When I asked my wife (in a clam, genuinely curious way) WHY she hated
Trump, I got (almost verbatim) the Democratic talking points ( islamopobe,
homophobe, racist, bigot, ect.) But when I asked her to give just ONE example,
she couldn't, Nor could any of the other women like her that I've queried.
Personally, I think it smells like the foul stench of 1960's Gloria Steinham
feminism that has screwed up so many women's lives and has inserted itself into
the female psyche of many American women without their conscious knowledge.
Another thing I've noticed is that many anti Clinton posts on Face book
disappear almost immediately. Guess I'm just a conspiracy nut. JS
