Sandra, You may have your "show system and hidden folder" options turned off
in Windows Explorer. Here's another way to get to the JAWS folder:

Start Button
Arrow down
a for All Programs
Right arrow to open
Up arrow a couple times to make sure you're in the list
J until you land on your current version of JAWS
Right arrow to open
E for Explore JAWS
Right arrow to open
Arrow to "Explore My Settings"
Press Enter

Now you're in the correct JAWS folder to paste the script files.

The other part does require you to show system folders and files in Windows
Explorer. Here's how to enable that:

Windows + E for Windows Explorer
Alt+T for tools
O for Options
Ctrl+Tab to find the View Page
Tab to a Tree View
Press the letter s until you hear something like "show hidden files and
folders Off"
Press the spacebar to set this to On
        Tab twice to Ok
Press Enter

Now you should be able to use Windows Explorer to navigate all the way into
the AppsData folder and beyond.

BTW you could have done this first instead of the steps I gave you for JAWS,
but this way you've learned two things.

Hope this helps.

Thank you again,
how do you get to:
C:\Users\dcarlson\AppData\Roaming\Freedom Scientific\JAWS\13.0\Settings\enu

Is it through windows explorer? In mine, after users it's Sandra then
there is no appData, just contacts, favourites, temp, tracing,
documents, downloads, desktop etc.

All the best,
Sandra.
