SMA and 3.5 mm are dimensionally the same. The SMA uses Teflon dielectric
and the 3.5mm uses air. The threads on a 3.5mm are of a tighter tolerance
than a SMA. They should mate non-destructively.

Subject: [SI-LIST] What's difference between 3.5mm and SMA?

Hi All:

We often meet some RF and microwave connector of 3.5mm, and some of SMA,
what 's difference between them?

Best Regards
