Also consider the effect of load(s) on the transmission line:  If there =
are a number of loads, maybe even if there's just one load, the =
effective (or loaded) characteristic impedance of the line is smaller =
than your 71 ohms ... the unloaded impedance.

This is especially true if the spacing between loads is relatively =
uniform, and if they are closer together (or closer to the source) than =
the length of a risetime of the signal.
