Julia,

Set GMINDC and GMAX in .option. The default value of GMINDC is 1.0e-12. A 
larger value will tend to easy convergence, but poor accuracy at the same 
time. The default value for GMAX is 100 mho. Try a very small value, such 
as 6. 

If it still fails, try a ramped voltage source for supply voltage.

Of cause you should use smaller time step and set method=gear when using 
the above methods. 

In one word, convergence problem is boring.
