I do believe that Terry still has that affect on dogs....on people, too! She
was one of the first people I "exposed" Harley to when he came to live with me.
I figured, even though we all KNEW he was as sound as they come, and he had
already received his TC, that would be the final proof to me; he stood his
ground when Terry walked up to us!
Sorry, Terry. Ruth brings out the devil in me!! :-)

Way back when, when Terry still smoked, I was teaching a dog to show and wanted
to introduce him to "odd" people judging. So Terry put on lots of perfume,
smoked like a smoke stack, wore flapping clothes and a huge hat. After a
morning of that, the dog thought the people in the center of the ring were
fine, regardless of what they looked/smelled like. The dogs really liked Terry
playing dress-up. they'd never know what strange version of Terry would jump
from behind a tree. It became a favorite game.
