Take time to attend a herding trial. You will see the difference then.
Not that it matters, the Rottie people will be telling you they are better,
the Cardi people will be telling you they are better, the Collie people
will be telling you they are better.
However.......when I watch Dexter herding, I LOVE the way he moves, how he
keeps his distance, how the suspended movement makes it look....easy. Its
the only word I can think of right of the top.
I like all dogs, but I LOVE to see a good GSD in movement. Reach, drive,
strength, suspension, ease. Yup, give me a GSD any day.
And please, don't tell the poodles....<G>
