The reason they can say that is WE DON'T TEST to those standards; thus we have
created that impression. And until you meet those standards WE are guilty, not
the dogs.
Ask them the next time when are their members going to upgrade the HIP
evaluations to the Australian/ New Zealand evaluation, where the progeny
scores affect the parents score.

I just wanted to attend a USA conformation show NOT even a ScH trial. Just the
conformation part but I got an earful as a GSDCA member. Most of the ScH people
told me to just dissolve my GSDCA membership but I said....Hell, No!
Their argument was that GSDCA has ruined the breed (we have heard this before,
right) as they go by German breeding standards unlike the gSDCA. I think they
were:
-a conformation rating of good or better
-a ScH 1 title or a HGH
-a courage/temperament test
- an endurance test
-a gunshot test
-hips and elbows rated
I think that's everything. The dog has to have all of the above before it is
allowed to be bred. They are saying none of the GSDCA dogs would pass German
standards. I think the "none" is a bit excessive and not true. However, I do
support the idea of their system.
