Your post was very well written, as usual.
There is a trend in the country or so it seems?, It is pervasive. Often
seen are short legged, square or nearly square, short croups, lack of neck,
lack of reach, and topline on a loose lead. Pretty? Some are., fluffy,
yes, and politically correct many times. Before anyone gets "haired up"
over that, I am not saying all, not by any means, but it is a trend. On the
plus side, shorter coupled, generally clean-ish, and again nice
plush coats.
Kathaleen like us, is not given to trends. Stick to your guns, Kathaleen (I
know you do) trends come and go...quality stays. Do what makes you happy,
and what you think constitutes a good dog, regardless of current PC in/out
the rings. Stay the course. You will not be disappointed. The "you" here
is also collectively speaking.
