If there are slight differences as the breedings diverge into 'lines,'
aren't there different factors that come to play? I'm not a science-
nerd, but it seems to me that if we continue breeding apart from, say
the white GSDs and the West German GSDs, then different... not DNA,
but like those factors that make long coats, black coats, long
pasterns, short backs, be more predominant in one groups than
another. The Germans kept breeding that roach back and it still pops
up fairly frequently.. isn't that a different pattern that the
American bred who has not roach backs?
So maybe more than different styles, but a divergence in the breed?
All GSDs with different ?? alleles? (is that a word?)
