Sounds good to me but since the GSD is a herding dog I think those dogs should
be profiled a little bit more.
Maybe have a Herding Class for the Working Herding dog with advanced Herding
titles and a Sport class for the working Sport dog (ScH or advanced AKC
titles)??
It would actually be cool to see if we could generate interest. I am trying to
do both AKC and ScH with my dog and it is a battle!! It seems that the ScH
people and the AKC Showring people are on opposite continents (except Helen
Gleason)! I couldn't even find a club to train with as the USA clubs (largest
ScH organization in America) is so horrified at what the GSDCA members have
done to the GSD that they will not let anyone be a member of USA if they are
GSDCA members. So, practically every club in my area is USA which leaves me
out to dry.
So, I have to find either a DVG club and come in through the back door or a WDA
club. The WDA clubs in my region have either left WDA or are in
turmoil/controversy. But, I still have one lifeline left with a local DVG
club. They said they weren't accepting new members but I might be able to get
my foot in the door.
Anyway, sorry to digress again.
Thus, my point was supposed to be that having that class might bring us all
together again??
We may just have to have one working dog class and mix everyone like you
suggested as not sure enough dogs would come. Probably only dogs showing in
performance at Nationals which would leave out the HGH dogs and the ScH dogs.
