Hi Laura
My bitch has been EPI + for 4 years now. I originally treated her with a
product called Pan-crease but found it waaay too expensive. I now use a
product called Can-Addase for which I pay about $50.00 for an approx 1 lb
(500gm) powder container. My girl is quite happy with 1/2 teaspoon per
meal over her food (not wetted but dry). In fact she did so well that she's
now 15 lbs overweight. I don't know if the product is available in the
States as all I ever hear about on this list is Viokase which seems a little
over the top expensive. I've attached a website that will ship to the
States and Can-Addase is available without prescription.

Good luck with your EPI dog. It is a challenge. When my girl gets a little
loose stooled, I pull her off her regular food for a day and feed her 1 cup
white rice (no salt) with the Can-Addase to stabilize her bowel function
again. Then mix 1/2 and 1/2 rice and food the next day.

I know there are some cattle people out there. I have a question. Does
anyone know where the pancreas is located in the cow? I need raw pancreas
and it seems that my local butchers don't know where it is to harvest it.
