I just heard from Fran that John had passed away. We have lost another
great legend of the breed. The breed will definitely feel the loss for years
to
come.
One of the things we can be so proud of is: that these great people have
been so generous with their knowledge. There knowledge is not lost. They
have
prepared us well.
I feel such sorrow and yet I know that John suffered greatly in the last few
months. He is not suffering anymore. I am grateful for all he did for our
great breed. He loved German Shepherd Dogs.
