I couldn't agree with you more Kathy. I believe we all need to stop
looking the other way. People need to be held accountable for their actions
and
called on it. It's not just the appearance of impropriety, I'm sure we
all can cite incidents of actual impropriety that we have observed but say
nothing. Consequently our sport, if you want to call it that is in the
toilet. By the way sportsmanship as defined in the dictionary: a person who
is
fair, generous, a good loser, and a gracious winner. I would like to add
ethics and integrity to that list of attributes. Kathy you are also right-on
if people ceased to get away with the shenanigans that have evolved over
the years at shows perhaps entries would be better and the sport would not be
geared toward those that can afford it. And yes I know the response, if
you have a good dog/bitch they will finish. Well folks they won't finish if
you don't have the RIGHT handler on them shown under the RIGHT judge. What
exactly does that tell you?
