Hi Rick and All,
Jerry Lee, was trained by Mark Morring who was the first K9 Sgt for LAPD
(Donn Yarnell was the first LAPD trainer) while I was the first K9 Sgt and
trainer for the L.A. County Sheriff's Department circa 1980.Both departments
had Narcotics dogs prior to 1980.
Joe Lesnik and I were handlers for LASD and Donn Yarnell was the handler for
LAPD, his dog was "Frog" an American Staff terrier, we all worked at LAX
with the DEA task force.
