I agree Sally.
I hope Sara is not in that group. She asked some good questions written in a
manner that gave the impression of wanting to learn, but then her answers were
such that lead me to believe that she had very preconceived ideas and opinions
that were already a mind set. I could be totally wrong, and hope I am, but if
not, I'm not sure how one can help a person like that.
There is no crime in not liking a certain venue, but if one wants to compete in
that venue, in this case, the AKC show ring, it just makes sense to watch and
learn first.
I attended my first conformation Sieger show in April, the style is
different. The presentation of the dogs is very different, and I remember
thinking, why don't they let them out on a loose lead instead of pulling into
the collar so hard it shortens up the front and one can't really see the dogs
gait? Different venue, different style.
So hopefully after re-reading some posts, Sara will either decide to accept it
as helpful advice, or that it's just not her cup of tea. But I truly don't
feel that this list shunned or chased her away, that would be her decision.
