I spent a week in Baton Rouge at LSU working as a grunt in the overall
Katrina animal relief effort ......and I can tell you that we had a
large number of "pit bulls" that I got close to and would have taken
home if they had allowed me. Some were real lovers that would have made

With all the bad press about this breed and the obvious insurance=20
problems...WHY would a family want one? I think law enforcement for the
gang banger and drug dealers just on the drug issue is so lax what
makes us=20
think they would enforce the dog laws? Again why would anyone own one of
these dogs? (except for the obvious)
