This highlights an important issue. Ebay is not a purchase, it is a
sporting event. It is about winning and losing. If I need a specific
item I need the item. Machismo, andrismos, need not enter in. I will
go find the item from a seller who will deal with me, and I will walk out
of the store with it in my hand and get back to work. It is a tool, not
a trophy.
Ebay is splendid, if you wish to "shop victoriously," as their current ad
proclaims. If you are seeking a tool, asap, forget it. "Maybe" is not
part of my toolkit.
