I remember seeing ads for those barrel-mount Aero Ektar lenses 50 years ago at 
the non-bargain price of something like $150.  People would buy them for their 
3 1/4X4 1/4 SLR Super D Graflexes. Were they all that good?

  You would need a focal plane shutter if you can latch on to one
  of those f2.5, 7 inch, Aero Ektar lenses!  The best portrait lens
  that I have ever used.
