Sue et al; I am neither a dealer or customer, however I believe that a base price should be available with the addendum that prices are subject to change and do not include the cost of installation or delivery. I understand that each instalation is unique -- however the price of the unit itself should be readily available. When I sold Wurlitzers -- the price was posted and didn't include taxes or delivery -- benches were included as was a large box of music. The prices were available from many different sources -- in fact I used to have a little pamphlet that listed every instrument in every finish with the MSRP. Just the price of the unit -- dealer extras were quoted at the time the sale was closed. Just my .02 worth. The dealer has a price list that is from the company--on this we have to base the price for each installation--all sales consultants are not given this list but a list that is prepared by their dealer. These prices do vary because of the different cost factors involved in doing business. > > I receive calls frequent ally for pricing out of the area--This is the customers right to ask but it is my responsibility as a dealer not to do anything that would harm another dealership or the Rodgers name. This can be handled in many ways but the customer can be given information in a way that will build trust in their dealer. > > May I please insert here that when prices are given without all the information a sale can be damaged--such as insurance claims. > > Noel: feel free to delete this if you wish but I firmly believe that these issues can be settled by contact with the local dealer. > > > Respectfully, > > Sue Rose Gibson > Sue :0} > > > New link to Christmas Music at www.frogmusic.com! > > New link to Christmas Music at www.frogmusic.com!
