No glassing needed... do as Rick said. Soak with thin CA (outside). Sand. Bondo 
if needed to smooth out surface. 
Primer, Paint, Propellent, Pushbutton, Parachute, Profit (or poorhouse)

Simply drip some thin CA into the "wound". It'll soak in, and toughen it up 
significantly.  Then, sand it smooth after it dries, and paint it.
