Most of the recipes for making a Rodinal substitute that I have seen
have one or more problems.  This one says to use a plastic bowl and
spoon for mixing the potassium hydroxide solution.  Be advised that
enough heat may be generated to melt these plastic articles.  It would
be better to use a Pyrex measuring cup and a glass stirring rod or SS
spoon.

The resulting concentrate from this recipe is also half the strength of
other formulas.
