And I'll eat corn bread and fish and chips any way you want to serve them. I even eat Jiffy corn muffin mix with cream corn added, and mayonnaise on my fries. (but a bit of vinegar, mayonnaise, ketchup and just a touch of horseradish makes GREAT stuff for the fish and chips.

So far,,, it's about lima beans that's not really on my list of eatable chow. Dinty Moore Beef stew, not quite sure if it's food or not, but other than that, I'll give it a go. I know for a fact that Friskey's flakes are better than Dinty Moore Stew in the can ;-)

The only vinegar that goes on fries is the vinegar that MIGHT be in ketchup. grin Everyone thinks a little different. There are still a few people that (heaven forbid) put sugar in their cornbread.

As a matter of fact British practice is to use the vinegar on the _fish_ not the chips. I use lemon juice, which I prefer and ketchup on fries.

   FWIW,
British English.................................American English
Chips...............................................French Fries
Crisps.............................................Chips
