I have this beautiful IIIf Red Dial and I found an original Leica case
for it in very nice condition. HOWEVER, the case is threaded for 3/8"
and the base plate is 1/4". I expected to find a removable insert in
the camera base, but it sure doesn't look like it. It appears that
the plate was built with a 1/4" socket thread.
Any thoughts or helpful ideas on how to resolve this would be appreciated.
