Good. Gainer's has needed something to reduce fog in some of his formulas as they use high pH as a substitute for sulfite. > > Hydroquinone is readily soluble in both TEA and propylene glycol. I may give this a try since I cannot get any more ascorbic acid into the methanol. I made up some of Gainer's PC-TEA last summer and it still works fine but is dark as coffee. This is just PC and TEA, no glycol or meoh. Incedintally, I store the Tris/borate as a 5X solution B with 25gm sulfite per liter. I recently found that the sulfite at that level slowly craps out over 4-6 months and needs to be refreshed. I think I will use some metabisulfite in the next batch to help stabilize the sulfite. The PC in meoh, however, is still fully active after 5 months in the dark in a half filled bottle at room temp.
