Dear Ross, Doing something for yourself is the best way to increase your
knowledge and gain a respect for those who also do it. See my other posting on
defusing soviet landmines - it is a great hobby. The business of getting
your friends to do what you want them to do is not easy. They take liberties.
They imagine that they are being clever, or memorable, or lovable. When they
are being their most lovable and memorable I just imagine them lying on the
ground with a crossbow bolt through their necks and it helps considerably.
It is similar with large groups at weddings - but I just imagine the meter
ticking over, as indeed it does - and smile and take another exposure. Uncle
