Penny, I would reckon that your best bet is to rip the CDs on your computer and then burn the files (in whatever folders you feel appropriate) to a CD. The Plextalk should then recognise the CD as an MP3 CD. Do not use a blank CD that you might have used in the Plextalk because, if you have put the CD in the PTR1 and have pressed the Record button, even if you haven't recorded anything, the Plextalk will have written information to the CD that identifies it as a DAISY CD and not a totally blank data CD.
