a note here, Jamal Mazrui's text pal and ed sharp have features for handling the indentation issues for programming in languages that require it, you can find links to his applications, and I believe there is a tutorial package on the "Jamal's documentation" page of the site as well, see the grab bag URL under my name below for both.

Hi Juan,

Here is a good introductory site:
http://www.ibiblio.org/obp/thinkCSpy/

and here is something a bit more advanced:
http://diveintopython.org/toc/index.html

Note that indentation is significant in Python and some sites do not display correctly in jaws. The first one above does seem to work correctly, the second not always. But you can download a text version of the second (Dive into Python), which will display correctly.

There are several Python books available on BookShare.

Hey guys,

Are there any good python books or sites to learn python from a programmer's perspective? I know other languages, so I don't need to learn the basics.

Thanks.

Juan
