I am reading SCJP 6 Certification by Sierra and Bates published by McGraww
Hill. There is a CD in the back of the book which has PDF material. This is not
a beginning book.

Susie,

I am interested to know what you were reading and where I may find the
literature so that I might read it myself.

I have just started studying OOP with Java through the Open University in the
UK and am having issues.

We have been given Blue Jay or Blue J software and I seem unable to ineract
with it, does anyone know how or what I need to change to gain access to this
software - using MS Windows XP home and Jaws 9.

Many thanks

roger

Hi Everyone,

I just thought I would write and let you know how much I admire all of you who
are certified. This test is not for the faint of heart. I have read the first
chapter once and could answer one out of nine questions. Then I read it again
and the question I got wrong I only got partially correct. It says to choose
all which are correct and you don't know how many might be correct. It is
common to ask which lines will cause compiler errors. I actually am thinking I
might go back and read more in Thinking in Java.
