There's also an IPV6 ICF (firewall) on some XP Pro
installations in ADDITION TO the regular XP Pro firewall. If
you have it, it may help to disable it.

Dale, is IPV6 installed on this system? In "Networking" for
your
connection is there an entry for IPV6? If it is there then
uninstall it.

It is not needed for most purposes and if you need it in the
future then
you can install it again. Likely you won't though.
