I assume you mean IE7? Can you give an example of some of the sites doing it? Sounds like it could be an issue with your hosts file. Do you have SpyBot, Spyware Blaster or similar programs installed that add their own hosts file? (If it is IE7, will you please see if this page will display for you? http://www.OrpheusComputing.com I just went to http://browsershots.org/ and it's showing a 403 forbidden ONLY for IE7 and IE5.5! Thanks). -Clint God Bless Clint Hamilton, Owner http://www.OrpheusComputing.com http://www.ComputersCustomBuilt.com http://Computer-Hardware-Sales-Consumer-Electronics-Sales.com ----- Original Message ----- From: "Dale E. Heltzer" When I try to use Msie (V7) I frequently (but not *always) get a message at the bottom of the screen "connecting to site 1.0.0.0" after which I get the message that Internet Explorer "cannot display the web page." I am using XP Pro, ZoneAlarm Pro, Norton AV 2006 I have Windows firewall turned off.
