There's no recycling of paper in Israel? ;-)

I'm not familiar with this adapter, how it works, nor how it's even
hooked up. But if it has anything to do with the LPT port's settings,
go into your BIOS and try changing those SCP, ECP, EPP, etc., settings
for it.

I remember long ago I was getting not gibberish, but unwanted text, at
the tops and bottoms of print-outs. I went into I think it was the Page
Setup properties (usually found in text editors or WordPad, webpages,
etc.), and I think it was text (or characters, whatever), that were in
the "Header" and "Footer" areas. May be worth checking to see if they
are blank.

OK. I got it back the way it was before. First it prints a cover page of
gibberish; then it prints the requested page perfectly.
Port is set for USB virtual port. Based on my previous experience, it
will
now print perfectly until I turn off the computer (which I am about to
do)
and then it will throw out that page of gibberish.
Perhaps I will have to just live with it. I won't be able to save the
trees,
so maybe I'll try to save the dolphins.

Check the port setting.
