GMan,

Maybe I didn't get the most recent .wab...is there more than one? When I
went to delete the wab on the stick it said it was a read-only file, & did I
still want to delete it. I clicked on yes. When I went back to the old
computer to locate the wab I dragged onto the memory stick & noticed it was
not a read only. It is in My documents & listed under 'unknown user .wab ',
it's properties is 1.01mg, read only....this is the one that did not go
through. But, I remembered a .wab.exe listed in programs, Outlook Express
so I went there to find that one.

I saved that to the stick but that doesn't seem to be current.

Jan

Hi Jan,
Back on the old system, go to Start > Search and have it look for the
following:

*.wab

Use the same method that you used for the DBX files to get the resulting
file over to the new computer (there's no need to copy the .wab file onto
the hard drive, so just leave it on the USB key). Once there, open the
Address Book and go to File > Import > Address Book and guide the window
that opens to the one on the USB key. Simple, no? :O)

Peace,
GMan
