Having just taken, and passed (YEAH!) the Property and Casualty Insurance
State Exam, I learned one thing. Yep, one thing. READ YOUR POLICY before
anything happens. You can get riders for just about anything, or get in a
different grouping to cover your needs better. Your insurance agent is
"supposed" to help you out with any unforeseen, in-the-future, problems, but
they don't always do that. The ultimate responsibility is yours, to make
sure you are covered for anything you think may happen.

A story here.....

We had a whole town flood out a couple years ago. They were not near the
ocean, the bay, any real close rivers. There was ONE guy in the town who had
had the foresight to get flood insurance. They had to rebuild the whole
town. Guess who paid ultimately?
Yep, you and me.
