Well... 128 seems right. But, I guess the 10 minutes you have under = properties is probably part of the culprit. ____________________________________ Sir Troth ICQ #1717439 AIM/AOL: SirTrothX Yahoo: SirTroth MSN: SirTroth@xxxxxxxxxxx (do not email me here) My Personal Email: SirTroth@xxxxxxxxx -------------------------------------------------- =20 -----Original Message----- From: pctechtalk-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx = [mailto:pctechtalk-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of cristy Sent: Thursday, December 08, 2005 9:25 PM To: pctechtalk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: -=3DPCTechTalk=3D- Re: sound files/conversion Hi Troth, It says bitrate 128. I think somehow it may have something to do with = the=20 duration that I set at the beginning of recording. Under properties, = says=20 ten 10.00 (minutes I believe) for all of the files, each one. I tried=20 recording something last night and setting it for like 2 minutes, seemed = to=20 do okay..I will play wiht it some this weekend. I was actually using my = headset to record from a boom box (tape) that was playing, not the best = way=20 but the sound was good enough for my school project plus my piano was = not in=20 the same room as the computer etc.. christy cia, cristy ----- Original Message -----=20 From: "~OoO~" <sirtroth@xxxxxxxxx> To: <pctechtalk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Wednesday, December 07, 2005 11:44 PM Subject: -=3DPCTechTalk=3D- Re: sound files/conversion > An MP3 less than two minutes long... 9.15MB... sure, I can see that = =3D > being possible...
